For the past eight years,
Smooth Jazz 98.1 and
Azusa Pacific University have teamed up to honor San Diego County's hard-working teachers and educators. Here's your opportunity to nominate - or even re-nominate - teachers who have made a positive impact in your community.
Once a month, one teacher will be recognized as our hero. The teacher receives a plaque and prizes at a presentation in front of their class! At the end of the year, all of our selected teachers and their classes will be honored at a private celebration at
LEGOLAND® California in Carlsbad!

To nominate a teacher, fill out and submit the entry form below, and let us know in 500 words or less why that teacher is a hero. You can also mail an entry, submitting the information below, to "Teachers Are Heroes," PO Box 889004, San Diego, CA, 92168.
