What about parking and transportation?
As most of our Festival guests know, parking in the Gaslamp Quarter is limited and taking public transit to the Festival is highly recommended.

Metropolitan Transit SystemTo alleviate parking problems, it's best to "trolley in" to the Festival. For those who want to park and take the Trolley, the Metropolitan Transit System recommends using the Old Town Transit Center and Qualcomm Stadium, both of which provide ample free parking.

Take the Trolley to the 5th Avenue Station (5th and C), then walk south to the gate at 4th and G. Both the Orange and Blue Lines serve the 5th Avenue station.

The MTS has a Day Pass available which can be purchased at Trolley ticket machines and on board busses. This pass provides unlimited riding for one day for only $5.00.
