Jazz at the Beach FAQs
What time does the concert begin?
The show begins at 3:30 p.m. Seating for both Plaza and Gold Circle begins at 2:30 p.m. Please arrive at your leisure. Please note each section is open seating.
How much are tickets?
Day-of ticket prices are $35 for Plaza seating & $45 for Gold Circle.
Is it possible to get a refund on the tickets?
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
Where is the concert?
The concert will be held at the beautiful, historic Oceanside Pier Amphitheatre located at 200 North The Strand. Please be prepared to bring sunscreen and weather-appropriate clothing the day of the show. The temperature may change at sunset. Concert will be held rain or shine.
How do I get to The Oceanside Pier Amphitheater?
From Interstate 5, take the Mission Avenue exit, west. Continue until you reach Pacific Street and you will be in the pier area.
How long will the concert last?
The concert will have one intermission period and end at sunset.
What are the seating arrangements?
Seating is arranged in two different sections. Gold Circle seating are rows of folding chairs located on the amphitheater floor. Plaza is “theater-style” seating and are permanent “bench-style” seats.
Is it possible to select my seats?
Seats are “first-come first served” in both sections.
What dining options are there at the event?
The event will feature delicious sandwiches, and snacks inside the venue. Adult beverages such as beer and wine will be available in addition to water. No outside food and beverages allowed inside (except for one, unopened 20 ounce or less bottle of water).
Are children allowed?
Jazz at the Beach is a 21 and older event.
Will the concert sell out?
We do anticipate a full house and encourage you to purchase tickets in advance. Almost all previous "Jazz at the Beach" shows have sold out.
Are tickets available at the door?
This is to be determined based on ticket sale progress. There may be a limited number of tickets available at the door. Advance ticket purchases are strongly recommended, as the concert is expected to sell out.

Are food and beverage allowed in the concert area?
No outside food or beverages will be allowed from outside the Oceanside Pier Amphitheater, with the exception of unopened water bottles, 20 ounces or less.
Are blankets and lawn chairs allowed?
Blankets and “stadium chairs” are allowed. However lawn chairs and umbrellas will not be permitted.
Where will I be able to find parking?
There are pay parking lots located south and north of the pier. Another pay parking lot is located one block east of Pacific Street on Mission Avenue and Myers Street. There is also metered parking available on Pacific Street!
